Salmon Poke Bowl
Description
Salmon Poke Bowl is a vibrant and healthy Hawaiian-inspired dish. It is an excellent choice for a light yet filling meal that requires no cooking beyond the rice.
Ingredients
- 500 grams of salmon
- 300 grams of rice
- 60 milliliters of soy sauce
- 1 large avocado
- 1 medium cucumber
- 100 grams of edamame beans
- 5 grams of sesame seeds
Steps
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Boil the rice in 400 milliliters of water. Once cooked, let it cool to room temperature.
- Cut salmon into small cubes and chop green onions.
- In a medium bowl, mix the soy sauce, the salmon cubes and green onions. Toss gently and let it sit in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes.
- While the salmon marinates, slice the cucumber, and peel the avocado.
- Divide the cooled rice into four deep bowls.
- Arrange the marinated salmon, cucumber, edamame, and avocado in neat sections on top of the rice.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top. You can also add extra soy sauce, if you like. Serve immediately.
